As a kid, I never realized how US-centric Sim City’s city building logic is. I always tried to create a working train system and get people off the roads, but that only resulted in traffic congestion everywhere. Watching this video, it occurs to me that Sim City really, really wants players to build American cities (where everything is built around huge multi-lane highways going straight through the city), not European cities (where you get everywhere by public transport).
